| Banshokou is named after a classic book written in the Edo Period about the cultivation of sweet potatoes. This traditional Shochu is made using the Edo Period Shochu making method. Sweet potato skin is peeled and charcoaled bamboo leaf is used in the fermentation process to purify the aroma.
